Baby Clinic

We take pride in looking after all of our new babies and their parents. Families are very special to us. That is why we hold a dedicated baby clinic every Thursday afternoon. This is a drop in clinic, there is no appointment necessary, you just turn up between 2pm and 3:30pm and you’ll be seen. The clinic is mostly attended by babies under the age of 18 months, but any parent or carer with a child under the age of 5 years is welcome to drop in to the Thursday afternoon clinic, where Dr Laskor, Nurse Maria, and our Health Visitor Theresa are all available. Theresa gives valuable advice on all baby matters, such as teething, breast-feeding, weaning, and performs the regular developmental checks. Theresa is always up to date with current government schemes such as healthy start vouchers etc, and knows a lot about local resources and motherhood. Nurse Maria gives the immunisations to all our babies and children. She is very experienced and has a tender hand! Dr Laskor sees any under 5 year olds with a medical problem, and checks over all the new babies and new mums when the baby is 6 weeks old. Dr Laskor is our Lead for Safeguarding Children, and carries out this role in a sensitive way. She is trained in Child Health, and specialised in Dematology, childhood skin conditions, and allergies.
