Rights & Responsibilities

Rights and Responsibilities

We undertake to provide you with an efficient pre-booked and emergency appointment service.  We therefore expect you to attend your appointment on time, and cancel it if you are unable to attend. We have zero tolerance to violent patients and verbal abuse. There are special arrangements under those circumstances. We will respect your confidentiality fully and only discuss your case with fellow professionals involved with your case. We will provide access to your medical records by booking an appointment for this purpose at the surgery.

Patient Data

The Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) requires the Practice to take steps to ensure that individual patient information is not deliberately or accidentally released or (by default) made available or accessible to a third party without the patient’s consent, unless otherwise legally compliant. We respect our patient’s privacy and confidentiality at all times.
